Briefing about the Maine Island Trail
When: Monday Oct. 29th @ 2:00pm Where: Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (Philip D. Reed Education Center)

We would like to invite you as we welcome Steve Spencer to the Annapolis area. Steve is the Senior Land and Recreation Planner of Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands. Steve has generously agreed to brief the Friends of the Captain John Smith National Historic Trail about the Maine Island Trail.

About The Maine Island Trail
The Maine Island Trail has the distinction of being one of the premier water trails in the nation and a strong economic driver in the region along the Maine coast. We hope to learn some lessons as this trail could serve as a potential model for the John Smith Trail's planning efforts. Also, please RSVP to the contact below if you will be able to join us as we have limited space. See the link on the left for directions. Thank You.

Sincerely,
Friends of the Captain John Smith Chesapeake National Historic Trail
